## What our figures are

Activity figures describe public reviews and our own dated checks. They are not ratings of quality, not recommendations and not estimates of sales. Check licenses, insurance and contracts yourself before you hire anyone.

## Sponsored placements and quote requests

Sponsored placements are always labelled and sit outside every list. Quote requests go only to the businesses you choose; some of them pay us a fee for that.

## Using our data

You may quote individual figures with a link to the page and its “Data as of” date. Bulk copying of the site is not allowed.
